Why it matters here

The sender rules apply to you too

Google, Yahoo and Microsoft now expect any domain sending mail in volume to have DMARC in place — the same requirements apply to Australian senders as anywhere else. DMARC is also part of the email hardening the Australian Cyber Security Centre recommends against spoofing and business email compromise, one of the most costly forms of cybercrime reported here.

The risk with DMARC is turning it on carelessly: enforce too early and you block your own invoices, booking confirmations and payroll notices, with nothing to tell you it happened. DMARCLoop watches your real traffic first and only tells you to tighten once the evidence says it's safe — and names the exact sender if something is still in the way.
